Emergency Room RN

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to quickly assess and provide effective care to our patients in the emergency room. We are looking for someone who is both knowledgeable and passionate about providing quality care in an emergency setting. This position requires an individual who is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate must possess a current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of California. They must also have a minimum of two years of recent Emergency Room experience and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess and provide effective care to patients in the emergency room.
2. Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
3. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
4. Maintain and update patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
6. Monitor patient vital signs and document patient progress.
7. Educate patients about their treatments, medications, and health conditions.
8. Follow hospital protocols and procedures.
9. Participate in continuing education programs to maintain and enhance nursing knowledge.
10. Provide emotional support and assistance to patients and their families.
