- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on all facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety of all facility equipment.
- Respond promptly to any facility emergencies or urgent repairs, following established protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance needs.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed, including documentation of any issues or concerns.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment for facility maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot facility issues and develop solutions to address them.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including conducting regular safety inspections.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to coordinate maintenance and repairs that may impact patient care or operations.
- Communicate regularly with facility management and other team members to provide updates on maintenance and repairs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in facility maintenance to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Train and supervise other maintenance staff as needed.

Experience In Building And Facilities Maintenance: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Building And Facilities Maintenance, Including Knowledge And Skills In Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And General Repairs.
Knowledge Of Safety Regulations And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Procedures In A Healthcare Setting, As Well As Knowledge Of Osha And Other Relevant Safety Standards.
Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills: Facilities Maintenance Engineers Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Other Staff Members And Vendors, As Well As Use Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Address Issues And Find Solutions.
Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks: This Role Requires The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks, Including Responding To Urgent Maintenance Requests And Completing Routine Maintenance Tasks In A Timely Manner.
