As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring they are in top working condition at all times. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing top-notch facility services.   1. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  2. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure facilities are well-maintained and functioning properly.
  3. Oversee the repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems within the facilities.
  4. Coordinate with outside contractors for large maintenance and repair projects.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including costs and timelines.
  6. Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes and regulations.
  7. Respond promptly to any maintenance or repair requests from staff and address issues in a timely manner.
  8. Monitor and manage the budget for facility maintenance and repairs.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the facilities meet the needs of patients and staff.
  10. Continuously assess and improve facility maintenance processes and procedures.
  11. Train and supervise facilities maintenance staff.
  12. Communicate effectively with management and staff to provide updates on facility maintenance projects and issues.
  13. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in facilities maintenance.
  14. Promote a positive and professional image of Kaiser Permanente through exceptional facility maintenance.
  15. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities Maintenance Or Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Osha Guidelines.

  • Strong Mechanical And Technical Skills, Including Experience With Hvac, Plumbing, And Electrical Systems.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem Solve Complex Maintenance Issues.
