  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on those needs.
  5. Monitor and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support for their mental health needs.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, following all HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  8. Stay current on developments in the mental health field and implement evidence-based practices in patient care.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide education and support around mental health treatment.
  10. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including safety protocols and ethical standards.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and a patient-centered approach.
  13. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and community resources to ensure continuity of care and support after discharge.
  14. Collaborate with insurance companies and other external stakeholders to ensure appropriate coverage and reimbursement for patients' care.
  15. Embody the organization's values of compassion, excellence, and commitment to providing high-quality mental health care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably In An Inpatient Psychiatric Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Psychiatric Diagnoses And Treatment Modalities, Including Evidence-Based Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Treatment Team.

  • Licensure Or Certification In Case Management Or A Related Field (E.g. Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Case Manager) Is Preferred.
