  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in the cardiac unit
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff
  • Assist in performing diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Educate patients and their families on cardiac health management and self-care techniques
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Lpn License In The State Where Kaiser Permanente Is Located. This Ensures That They Have Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Provide Care For Cardiac Patients.

  • Experience In Cardiac Care: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Providing Care For Patients With Cardiac Conditions. This Experience Should Include Monitoring Vital Signs, Administering Medication, And Assisting With Procedures.

  • Cpr And Acls Certification: As A Cardiac Lpn, It Is Crucial To Have Current Cpr And Acls Certifications. This Shows That The Candidate Is Trained In Emergency Procedures And Can Provide Lifesaving Interventions If Needed.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Medications And Treatments: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Commonly Used Cardiac Medications And Treatments, Such As Beta Blockers, Ace Inhibitors, And Cardiac Catheterization. This Knowledge Will Allow Them To Effectively Assist The Rns And Physicians In Providing Care To Patients.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Working In A Cardiac Unit At Kaiser Permanente Requires Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team To Ensure The Best Possible Care For Patients.
