Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Occupational Health Department. Our ideal candidate will bring a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to providing excellent patient care. You will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, providing direct patient care in a diverse and fast-paced work environment.The successful candidate must possess an active Licensed Practical Nurse License in the State of California and have at least 1 year of experience as an LPN in an Occupational Health setting. You must have experience in caring for patients with acute, chronic, and work-related health conditions and have knowledge of occupational health laws. In addition, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent medical care and is committed to providing a positive patient experience. As an LPN in Occupational Health, you will be a vital part of our team and will help ensure the highest possible quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment in an Occupational Health setting.
  2. Administer medications and treatments to patients with acute, chronic, and work-related health conditions.
  3. Monitor and assess patient’s condition and progress.
  4. Maintain accurate and up to date medical records.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health laws and regulations.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  8. Participate in continuing education and training activities.
  9. Provide a positive patient experience.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
