  1. Conduct initial patient screenings and assessments to determine their immediate medical needs.
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
  3. Monitor patient vitals and condition, and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  4. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatments, and provide instructions for at-home care.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  8. Assist with medical procedures and minor surgeries as needed.
  9. Keep track of medical supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or malfunctions.
  10. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Attend regular staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  12. Comply with all state and federal regulations and follow Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
  13. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
  15. Serve as a role model for other team members and assist with training new LPNs and support staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Lpn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Current Lpn License In The State Where They Will Be Working.

  • Urgent Care Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Urgent Care Setting, With The Ability To Handle Fast-Paced, High-Stress Situations.

  • Knowledge Of Urgent Care Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Common Urgent Care Procedures, Such As Wound Care, Splinting, And Administering Medications.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As An Lpn In An Urgent Care Setting, The Candidate Will Need To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.

  • Ability To Work In A Team: Working In An Urgent Care Setting Requires Collaboration And Teamwork. The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Well With Others, Take Direction From Physicians And Other Healthcare Providers, And Contribute To A Positive Team Dynamic.
