Medical Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. You will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients, assisting with procedures, and performing administrative duties. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist patients in providing quality healthcare. • Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, entering patient information into electronic medical records (EMR), and filing paperwork. • Prepare exam rooms and instruments for procedures. • Assist physicians with treatments, check vital signs, administer medication, and draw blood. • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. • Monitor and order medical supplies and ensure proper storage. • Respond to inquiries from patients and their families. • Assist in the development of patient education materials. • Perform basic medical diagnostic tests, such as urinalysis and blood tests. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
