Medical Assistant-Pediatrics

We’re looking for a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant-Pediatrics to join Kaiser Permanente’s team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this role, you’ll provide administrative and clinical support to our pediatric patients and their families. As a Medical Assistant-Pediatrics, you’ll be an integral part of our team, helping us provide the highest level of care and support possible.To be successful in this role, you should have at least two years of medical assistant experience, preferably in a pediatric setting. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for working with and helping children. Responsibilities:

1. Provide administrative and clinical support to pediatric patients and their families.
2. Greet and check-in pediatric patients upon their arrival.
3. Schedule and coordinate appointments.
4. Maintain patient records and medical charts.
5. Administer routine medical tests and treatments.
6. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
7. Document patient information in the electronic health record system.
8. Stock and maintain medical supplies in exam rooms.
9. Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
10. Provide compassionate care to children and their families.
