We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Medical Assistant-Pediatrics to join our dedicated team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will provide quality patient care, while being sensitive to the needs and concerns of both parents and children. If you have a passion for working with children and providing exceptional patient care, we want to hear from you.To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting or a related field, a valid certification as a Medical Assistant, and at least one year of experience working with pediatric patients. You should also have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities:

-Provide quality patient care to pediatric patients while being sensitive to the needs and concerns of parents -Perform medical exams, collect patient information, and document patient records -Educate parents and children on different healthcare topics -Carry out medical tests and procedures as necessary -Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising physician -Assist with patient scheduling and other administrative tasks -Maintain a clean and organized work environment -Comply with all safety and hygiene standards -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical technologies and procedures -Provide support to other medical staff members as needed
