Monitor Technician

We are looking for a Monitor Technician to join the Kaiser Permanente team! As a Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients while providing quality care. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about providing quality care and is committed to excellence.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED, and prior experience in a health care setting. You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. In addition, you should have the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and be alert to possible emergencies. We also value a positive attitude and strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities of Monitor Technician:

1. Monitor patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate.
2. Maintain patient safety by ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
3. Provide quality care by following established standards and procedures.
4. Report any changes in patient condition to the health care team.
5. Assist with patient care activities as needed, such as transferring, bathing, and changing bed linens.
6. Respond to patient requests promptly and in a courteous manner.
7. Document patient care activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
8. Participate in educational activities to maintain clinical competency.
9. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
10. Adhere to hospital’s policies and procedures.
