  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department (ED) and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  2. Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the ED.
  4. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  6. Create and maintain a safe and supportive work environment for staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  7. Develop and manage the ED budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to emergency care.
  9. Conduct regular staff meetings, trainings, and educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the ED team.
  10. Handle patient and family complaints or concerns, addressing them promptly and effectively.
  11. Act as a liaison between the ED team and other departments within the healthcare facility.
  12. Represent the ED in meetings and committees to provide updates and recommendations for improvement.
  13. Collaborate with the recruitment team to hire and onboard new staff members.
  14. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
  15. Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and patient-centered care within the ED team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In An Emergency Department Setting.

  • Previous Management Or Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Collaborate With A Diverse Team.
