
Occupational Therapist
At Kaiser Permanente, we are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing services to patients, families, and caregivers to improve, develop, and/or restore functional capacity, using medically prescribed or medically indicated treatments.We are looking for a professional with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in Occupational Therapy, a current Occupational Therapy license, along with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate should also have a deep understanding of the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy and be able to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities:
- Provide services to patients, families, and caregivers to improve, develop, and/or restore functional capacity, using medically prescribed or medically indicated treatments.
- Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Utilize a deep understanding of the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy to ensure optimal care.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans according to established standards.
- Maintain current and valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and other professional development activities.
- Remain current on best practices in Occupational Therapy.
- Provide exceptional patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner.
Ability To Work With Diverse Patient Populations
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy
Certification By The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot)
Current State License In Occupational Therapy
At Least Two Years Of Experience In Occupational Therapy
Knowledge Of Current Occupational Therapy Techniques And Practices
