  1. Greet and welcome patients to Kaiser Permanente, ensuring a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by actively listening to their needs and concerns and offering appropriate solutions.
  3. Utilize strong knowledge of optics and eyewear to assist patients in selecting the best eyewear for their needs.
  4. Educate patients on the features and benefits of various eyewear products and services.
  5. Utilize sales techniques to effectively upsell and cross-sell eyewear products and services.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized dispensing area, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  7. Process and track patient orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and new products in order to make knowledgeable recommendations to patients.
  10. Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  11. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the optical department.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to privacy and confidentiality.
  14. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service.
  15. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures, as well as product knowledge.
  16. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the values and mission of Kaiser Permanente.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Optometry Or Related Field

  • State License To Practice As An Optometrist Or Dispenser

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Optical Sales And Customer Service

  • Strong Knowledge Of Various Eyewear Products And Lens Options

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Patients And Colleagues.
