  1. Provide comprehensive eye exams and diagnose and treat ocular conditions for patients of all ages.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and conditions.
  3. Utilize advanced technology and equipment to accurately assess and diagnose eye conditions.
  4. Collaborate with other medical professionals within the group to provide coordinated care for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  6. Educate patients on proper eye health and care, including contact lens use and eye disease prevention.
  7. Stay current with advancements in the field of optometry and participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of optometry.
  9. Ensure a positive patient experience by providing compassionate and attentive care.
  10. Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the medical group.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Optometry Degree From An Accredited Institution: This Is A Minimum Requirement For Any Optometrist Position And Ensures That The Candidate Has Received The Necessary Education And Training In The Field Of Optometry.

  • State Licensure And Certification: The Candidate Must Be Licensed To Practice Optometry In The State Of Capitol Hill And Hold All Necessary Certifications To Perform Eye Examinations And Prescribe Corrective Lenses.

  • Experience In A Medical Group Setting: Preferably, The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In A Medical Group Or Multi-Specialty Clinic, As This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Work Well In A Team And Provide Quality Care To Patients.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Clinical Skills And A Thorough Understanding Of Optometry Principles And Procedures, Including The Ability To Diagnose And Treat Various Eye Conditions And Diseases.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills: As A Member Of Kaiser Permanente, The Optometrist Will Be Expected To Provide Excellent Patient Care And Communicate Effectively With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Interpersonal Skills And A Patient-Centric Approach Are Essential For This Role.
