  1. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for use in legal proceedings.
  2. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  3. Assist attorneys in case preparation and management, including organizing and maintaining case files and documents.
  4. Communicate with internal stakeholders and external parties, such as clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  5. Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  6. Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances for attorneys.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner.
  8. Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the healthcare industry.
  9. Collaborate with other departments within Kaiser Permanente to ensure legal compliance and support important healthcare initiatives.
  10. Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
  12. Maintain a professional attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.
  13. Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by attorneys or legal management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Law Firm Or Corporate Legal Department

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations, Including Hipaa And Medicare/Medicaid

  • Proficient In Legal Research And Writing, With Strong Attention To Detail

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Attorneys, Clients, And Other Stakeholders.
