Patient Access Representative

We are looking for a highly organized, customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Access Representative at Kaiser Permanente. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients to Kaiser Permanente in a friendly and professional manner.
• Verify patient’s insurance information and update records in a timely manner.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments and navigating the healthcare system.
• Answer incoming calls from patients and other healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and resolving any issues.
• Maintain a calm and positive demeanor when dealing with difficult patients or situations.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other administrative staff.
• Follow established policies and procedures for patient access.
• Assist patients with any other administrative tasks or requests they may have.
