Job Description

  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients by assisting with their daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  2. Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
  3. Assist with patient mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment.
  4. Administer basic medical treatments and procedures, under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including changing linens, disposing of medical waste, and sanitizing equipment.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient conditions and address any concerns.
  8. Adhere to all established policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  9. Identify and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  10. Act as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and education to improve and enhance patient care skills.
  12. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and offering suggestions for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Equivalent Certification

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic

  • Basic Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients And Medical Staff

  • Understanding Of Patient Privacy And Confidentiality Laws And Regulations
