  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in accordance with Kaiser Permanente's standards and policies.
  2. Assist medical staff with procedures and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  3. Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting any abnormalities or changes to the medical team.
  4. Help patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the medical team.
  6. Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and maintained in accordance with infection control protocols.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns.
  8. Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  10. Continuously monitor and assess patient needs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
  11. Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
  12. Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards and protocols.
  13. Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor at all times, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Recognized Patient Care Technician Training Program Or Equivalent Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Certification As A Patient Care Technician Or Nursing Assistant From A Nationally Recognized Organization, Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Basic Patient Care Procedures, And Infection Control Practices.

  • Experience Working In A Fast-Paced, Acute Care Hospital Or Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Similar Role As A Patient Care Technician.
