Phlebotomist

Responsibilities:

1. Perform blood collection procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations.
2. Obtain patient information, verify orders, and label specimens appropriately.
3. Monitor patient vitals and respond appropriately to any changes.
4. Follow all laboratory and safety regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
5. Ensure accurate and timely record keeping of patient information and test results.
6. Provide information and assistance to patients regarding blood collection procedures.
7. Maintain all equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly fashion.
8. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.
9. Participate in continuing education and training as required.
