
Radiologic Technologist
At Kaiser Permanente, our Radiologic Technologists play a critical role in providing excellent care for our patients. We are looking for an experienced, well-trained and highly motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our team.The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with at least 5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. He/she will have a valid Radiologic Technologist license and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with knowledge of relevant procedures and protocols. The Radiologic Technologist will have excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. He/she will also have a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and providing the highest quality of care. Responsibilities:
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the human anatomy for the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
• Follow established protocols and procedures for administering radiologic examinations
• Adjust and manipulate radiation exposure factors as needed to obtain optimal radiologic images
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, positioning and radiation protection techniques to produce radiologic images
• Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams
• Maintain and operate radiologic equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain logs and records of all radiologic procedures
• Educate patients on radiologic procedures and answer any questions they may have
• Ensure that patient safety and privacy is maintained at all times
• Maintain and update certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
