  1. Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals accessing healthcare services.
  2. Collect and verify patient information, including personal and insurance details, to ensure accurate and timely processing of appointments and services.
  3. Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, using a computerized scheduling system.
  4. Utilize knowledge of insurance policies and procedures to assist patients with insurance inquiries and ensure appropriate coverage for services.
  5. Educate patients on available healthcare services and assist with any questions or concerns they may have.
  6. Collaborate with medical staff and departments to ensure efficient and effective patient flow.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
  8. Handle and resolve patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Work closely with billing and financial departments to ensure proper billing and payment processes are followed.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient access processes and procedures to enhance the overall patient experience.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date on healthcare policies and procedures.
  12. Comply with all Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
  13. Act as a positive representative of Kaiser Permanente, promoting the organization's mission and values.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere for patients and staff.
  15. Collaborate with other team members to ensure departmental goals and objectives are met.
