SAS Programmer Analyst
Provides database and programming design, data management, data extraction using multiple data systems and very large datasets, and analytic support for research projects of moderate complexity. May participate in multi-site research projects, working with other sites and running programs. Provides expertise in interpretation and use of health care and insurance data. Manages a workload of several projects and documents project work. Uses knowledge of research methodology, data sources and technology to recommend solutions. Designs programs and databases to support projects using multiple data systems and very large datasets. Performs analysis, coding, testing, documentation and maintenance tasks for projects of moderate complexity.
Minimum five (5) years of programming experience in a comparable environment using multiple data systems and very large datasets.
Intermediate skills in a secondary application or technology supporting large scale data management
Experience in interpretation and use of health care and insurance data.
