  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients visiting the ambulatory services department.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Manage patient inquiries and concerns, escalating to the appropriate department or individual as needed.
  4. Ensure that all patients are checked in and out efficiently, verifying insurance information and collecting any necessary copays or payments.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including restocking supplies and keeping the waiting room presentable.
  6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth patient flow and timely appointments.
  7. Educate patients on their insurance coverage and any necessary paperwork or forms.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
  9. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patients receive the highest level of care during their visit.
  10. Continuously strive to improve customer service processes and procedures to enhance the patient experience.
  11. Attend training and development programs to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  12. Handle any difficult or sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure they are properly stored and secured.
  14. Work closely with the billing department to resolve any billing or insurance-related issues for patients.
  15. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, coworkers, and management at all times.

Job Qualifications
