
Sonographer, Diagnostic Ultrasound
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sonographer, Diagnostic Ultrasound to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. This rewarding role offers a unique opportunity to provide a wide variety of patient care services. The ideal candidate for this position is a healthcare professional with a positive and collaborative attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.The successful Sonographer, Diagnostic Ultrasound will have a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting, a current registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) certification, and a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient safety, a compassionate bedside manner, and a working knowledge of ultrasound equipment and image optimization. Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide variety of patient care services in an ultrasound setting.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude in patient care.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with patients, medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care and patient safety.
- Utilize ultrasound equipment and image optimization to produce quality results.
- Maintain a current registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) certification and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Follow all policies and procedures for the imaging department.
- Maintain a compassionate bedside manner at all times.
- Stay up-to-date on current technology and advances in the field of ultrasound.
- Participate in educational and training activities as required.
