- Provide individualized speech therapy services to patients in our inpatient setting.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient's needs.

Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Or Communication Disorders Is Required For This Position. This Degree Provides The Necessary Academic And Clinical Training For A Speech Therapist To Work Effectively With A Variety Of Patients And Conditions.
State Licensure And Certification: All Speech Therapists Must Be Licensed By The State In Which They Work And Hold A Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha). These Credentials Ensure That The Therapist Has Met The Required Standards For Education And Competency In The Field.
Experience Working With Inpatient Populations: Kaiser Permanente's Speech Therapists Must Have Experience Working With Patients In An Inpatient Setting. This Includes Evaluating And Treating Individuals With A Variety Of Communication And Swallowing Disorders, Such As Aphasia, Dysarthria, And Dysphagia.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Speech Therapist In An Inpatient Setting, It Is Essential To Have Excellent Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Assess And Treat Patients. Additionally, Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Communicate With Patients And Their Families.

Speech Therapists Must Have A Strong Understanding Of The Latest Research And Techniques In The Field In Order To Provide The Best Care For Their Patients.
