- Provide individualized speech therapy services to patients in our inpatient setting.

Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Or Communication Disorders Is Required For This Position. This Degree Provides The Necessary Academic And Clinical Training For A Speech Therapist To Work Effectively With A Variety Of Patients And Conditions.
State Licensure And Certification: All Speech Therapists Must Be Licensed By The State In Which They Work And Hold A Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha). These Credentials Ensure That The Therapist Has Met The Required Standards For Education And Competency In The Field.
Experience Working With Inpatient Populations: Kaiser Permanente's Speech Therapists Must Have Experience Working With Patients In An Inpatient Setting. This Includes Evaluating And Treating Individuals With A Variety Of Communication And Swallowing Disorders, Such As Aphasia, Dysarthria, And Dysphagia.
