  1. Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' speech and language abilities.

  3. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech and language skills.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

  10. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the therapy process.
  11. Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
  12. Uphold confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  13. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
  14. Adhere to all Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and overall quality of care.
  16. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  17. Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and reimbursement for services.
  18. Act as an advocate for patients and their needs within the healthcare system.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited University.

  • Current License To Practice Speech Therapy In The State Where Kaiser Permanente Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Or Inpatient Setting.

  • Certification From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha) Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Conducting And Interpreting Diagnostic Evaluations And Developing Individualized Treatment Plans For Patients With Communication And Swallowing Disorders.
