Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Technician, Pharmacy to join our Kaiser Permanente family. As a Technician, Pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing customer service to Kaiser Permanente members, as well as supporting the Pharmacy team in providing quality care to our patients. You will be a key member of a team of highly skilled Pharmacy professionals dedicated to delivering the highest caliber of care.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma, a certificate of completion from an accredited pharmacy technician program, and a valid pharmacy technician license in the state in which you’re applying. You should also have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to Kaiser Permanente members.
  2. Utilize excellent communication skills to interact effectively with members and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Assist in providing quality care to patients.
  4. Maintain a professional, organized, and efficient workspace.
  5. Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
  6. Accurately enter patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
  7. Assist with the ordering, stocking, and distribution of medications.
  8. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Ensure that all pharmacy policies and procedures are followed.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and conduct at all times.
