We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomed Supervisor to join our dynamic Biomedical Engineering department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our team of Biomed Technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all medical equipment across our network of facilities.   1. Oversee and manage a team of Biomed Technicians, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their job duties.
  2. Monitor and maintain the safe and efficient operation of all medical equipment across the network of facilities.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment.
  4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and effective repairs and maintenance of medical equipment.
  6. Train and educate staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of equipment and parts.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into the biomedical engineering program.
  9. Create and maintain a budget for the department, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial goals.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the Biomedical Engineering department and other departments within the network regarding equipment needs and issues.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and guidance to Biomed Technicians to promote their professional development.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication within the department.
  13. Stay informed on industry regulations and standards and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  14. Provide timely and accurate reports to upper management on the department's operations and performance.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient care and satisfaction through the proper maintenance and functioning of medical equipment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Supervisory Role Within A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment And Technology, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Effectively

  • Familiarity With Relevant Regulations And Standards, Such As Fda And Joint Commission Requirements
