
Genetics Counselor - Oncology
Kettering Health Network is searching for a passionate and knowledgeable Genetics Counselor - Oncology to join our team! As a Genetics Counselor - Oncology, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive genetic counseling services to patients and their families. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment to assess the genetic risk for hereditary cancer and other genetic conditions. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in Genetic Counseling, be certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or eligible for ABGC certification, and have experience working in an oncology setting. A commitment to providing patient-centered care and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive genetic counseling services to patients and their families.
- Assess the genetic risk for hereditary cancer and other genetic conditions.
