  1. Manage patient accounts and financial information with accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing for services rendered.
  4. Assist patients with questions and concerns regarding their accounts and financial responsibilities.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing and payment issues.
  6. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
  7. Stay updated on healthcare regulations and policies related to patient billing and accounts.
  8. Educate patients on insurance coverage and payment options.
  9. Work with patients to establish payment plans and assist with financial assistance programs as needed.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient accounts.
  11. Maintain organized and accurate records of patient accounts and financial transactions.
  12. Participate in training and professional development activities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  13. Uphold the mission and values of the organization in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  14. Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements for better patient experience and financial outcomes.
  15. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient account management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required, Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Healthcare Billing, Coding, Or Collections Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Plans, And Government Regulations Related To Billing And Collections.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Enter And Manage Data In Electronic Health Records And Billing Software.

  • Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Insurance Companies, And Healthcare Providers.
