In this role, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the perioperative process for our surgical patients.   1. Coordinate and manage the perioperative process for surgical patients.
  2. Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to perioperative care.
  4. Communicate with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the surgical process.
  5. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
  7. Manage and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  9. Mentor and train new staff members on perioperative processes and procedures.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve perioperative processes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  11. Monitor and manage patient flow through the perioperative process.
  12. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in data collection and analysis.
  14. Stay updated on current trends and advancements in surgical services.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  16. Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient concerns or complaints promptly.
  17. Collaborate with billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
  18. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  19. Attend staff and department meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
  20. Perform any other duties assigned by the surgical services leadership team.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Ohio.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Perioperative Nursing Experience.

  • Previous Leadership Or Management Experience In A Surgical Services Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Equipment, And Supplies.
