Live Haul Supervisor

Supervises catch and haul operation which includes ensuring the proper catching and handling of the broilers. Oversees the number of birds per cage, loading processes, and the safe and timely transport of the broilers to the plant. Manages, coordinates, and communicates with the truck shop, drivers and contractors. Keeps the Live Haul Manager informed. Assists the Live Haul Manager and superintendent as needed. Monitors the flow of birds to plant by following the truck arrival and department times. Schedules and dispatches the trucking operation at the proper times and intervals to ensure the constant flow of birds. Responsibility for employee safety on the shift. Ensures safety protocols and procedures are followed. Responsible for ensuring that all animal welfare and biosecurity protocol and requirements are met.
