Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinic Patient Access Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, verifying insurance information, and scheduling appointments. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment.   1. Greet and welcome patients to the clinic with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  2. Register patients by accurately collecting and entering personal and insurance information into the system.
  3. Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  4. Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring availability and proper documentation.
  5. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients regarding their appointments, insurance, and any necessary paperwork.
  6. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and address any patient concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
  8. Keep accurate and organized records of patient appointments and related information.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  11. Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and procedures and communicate them to patients as needed.
  12. Continuously strive to improve patient experience and satisfaction.
  13. Attend trainings and meetings to stay current on clinic processes and procedures.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the clinic manager.

  • Experience With Electronic Health Records (Ehr): Proficiency In Using Electronic Health Record Systems Is Required To Efficiently Manage Patient Information And Ensure Compliance With Privacy Regulations. Prior Experience With Ehr Systems Is Preferred.
