Job Description

At Kindred Healthcare, we are looking for an experienced Rehab Aide to join our team. This position will serve as a key member of the rehabilitation team, working closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional care for our patients. To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, and experience in a health care setting. Knowledge of medical terminology as well as excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently while also functioning as a team player.If you are passionate about providing quality care and have a commitment to helping others recover, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare team members in providing exceptional care to patients.
  2. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care activities.
  3. Ensure patient safety and comfort by providing assistance with transfers, mobility, and exercise activities.
  4. Follow established protocols and procedures for patient care.
  5. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
  7. Assist with stocking supplies and other related tasks.
  8. Participate in patient care planning and individual patient assessments.
  9. Answer patient inquiries and provide patient education as needed.
  10. Comply with all safety standards and quality assurance procedures.
