Job Description

The Library Director is seeking a Librarian for Youth Services to perform professional library work, provide access to information, materials, and resources to assist the public. This position would successfully promote, plan, and conduct literacy initiatives amongst the community through innovative library programs and outreach services to children, teen, families, schools, and community organizations, and coordinate the library's youth services operations. Participates in the supervision of library procedures, personnel and branches; reads book reviews. Evaluates the collection and the needs of the community and recommends the purchase of new books and other library materials.
