- Identify potential vulnerabilities and risks within the organization's systems and networks and proactively address them.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect and respond to potential cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions that align with business objectives.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and threats to continuously improve the company's security posture.
- Train and educate employees on cyber security best practices and policies.
- Manage and maintain security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of cyber attacks.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents, including forensic analysis and reporting.
- Communicate security issues, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of third-party systems and data.
- Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and incident response plans.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cyber security matters and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cyber security.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Cyber Security Or A Similar Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Network Security Protocols And Tools, Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Encryption Methods.
Experience With Risk Assessment And Vulnerability Management Techniques.
Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism) Are Preferred.
