Collection Manager

Kotak Mahindra Bank is seeking an experienced and ambitious Collection Manager to join our team and help us build on our success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our collection process, from ensuring timely payments to dealing with customer inquiries.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills. You must also be able to work independently and have a proven track record of success in a similar role. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and manage all aspects of the collection process, including ensuring timely payment of invoices and customer inquiries.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve collection processes and achieve higher success rates.
3. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers in order to facilitate timely payments.
4. Create and maintain relationships with customers to ensure effective communication and facilitate resolution of payment issues.
5. Track and report on collection activities and metrics.
6. Monitor customer accounts and credit limits, and identify any potential risks.
7. Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate records and proper follow-up of inquiries.
8. Monitor and analyze industry trends and best practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
9. Provide training and support to staff on collection processes and procedures.
10. Respond to customer complaints or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
