  1. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  3. Counsel patients on the proper use and potential side effects of prescribed medications.
  4. Collaborate with physicians to ensure appropriate medication therapy for patients.
  5. Monitor drug interactions and potential adverse effects for patients with multiple prescriptions.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Order, stock, and maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
  8. Stay informed on new medications, treatments, and developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
  9. Educate customers on over-the-counter medications and products.
  10. Administer vaccinations and other necessary immunizations.
  11. Train and supervise pharmacy technicians.
  12. Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  13. Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues regarding medications.
  14. Work closely with insurance companies to process and resolve claims.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and overall pharmacy operations.
  17. Adhere to all laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
  18. Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
  19. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  20. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy: A Minimum Requirement For A Pharmacist Job At Kroger Is A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Program.

  • State Licensure: All Candidates Must Be Licensed To Practice Pharmacy In The State Where The Kroger Store Is Located.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals: A Pharmacist At Kroger Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Different Medications, Their Uses, And Potential Side Effects.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Pharmacists At Kroger Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Medical Professionals, And Other Staff Members.

  • Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Retail Pharmacy, Particularly At A Large Chain Like Kroger, Is Preferred. This Demonstrates An Understanding Of The Day-To-Day Operations And Customer Service Skills Needed For The Job.
