- Ensure Compliance: It is the Pharmacist's responsibility to ensure that all dispensing and record-keeping practices comply with state and federal regulations. This includes maintaining accurate records of controlled substances and following proper protocols for dispensing.
- Provide Customer Service: As a representative of Kroger, the Pharmacist must provide exceptional customer service to all patients. This includes answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing medication counseling to promote positive health outcomes.
- Maintain Inventory: The Pharmacist is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels, ordering medications, and keeping track of expiration dates. This ensures that medications are readily available for patients and prevents waste.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: The Pharmacist must work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure the best possible patient care. This may include consulting on medication therapy and making recommendations for alternative treatments.

- Train and Supervise Pharmacy Staff: As a senior member of the pharmacy team, the Pharmacist may be responsible for training and supervising other pharmacy staff, such as technicians and interns.
- Uphold Kroger
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctorate Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) From An Accredited Institution.
Active And Unrestricted State License To Practice Pharmacy.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Pharmacy Practice.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Dispensing Medications.
