Welcome to Kroger! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Lead Technician to join our team. As the Pharmacy Lead Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our pharmacy department.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  2. Train, mentor, and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure they are following proper procedures and providing exceptional customer service.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  4. Work closely with the pharmacy manager to develop and implement strategies for improving workflow and efficiency.
  5. Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies.
  6. Accurately process and fill prescriptions, including verifying patient information, dosage instructions, and medication interactions.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from patients and healthcare providers.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  9. Collaborate with other departments within the store to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  10. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to pharmacy team members.
  11. Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of controlled substances and ensure compliance with all record-keeping and reporting requirements.
  12. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the pharmacy department and take necessary corrective action.
  13. Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in the pharmaceutical industry and provide recommendations for implementing new processes or systems.
  14. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for all team members.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality protocols.

Job Qualifications
