1. Receive and unpack merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of shipments.
2. Organize and stock shelves, maintaining a neat and visually appealing store layout.
3. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock to management.
4. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and back room areas.
5. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.
6. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any questions they may have.
7. Assist in price changes and labeling of merchandise.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
9. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
10. Proactively identify and report any maintenance or safety issues in the store.
11. Participate in training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills.
12. Follow company policies and procedures, including proper handling of merchandise and cash handling.
13. Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic while representing the company's values and culture.
