As the Store Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in the overall success of our store by assisting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. We are seeking candidates who possess strong communication skills, a hands-on attitude, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management.   1. Lead and manage a team of employees to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
  2. Assist in the hiring, training, and development of store associates.
  3. Collaborate with the Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets, monitor expenses, and manage inventory levels.
  4. Ensure store operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including opening and closing procedures.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, following company policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales and customer data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
  9. Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork and providing feedback and coaching to team members.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market changes to make informed decisions and stay ahead of competition.
  11. Act as a role model for employees by demonstrating excellent customer service, strong leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.
  12. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and budgeting.
  13. Represent the company in a positive manner and maintain strong relationships with customers and community members.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: Candidates For A Store Assistant Manager Position At Kroger Should Have Prior Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In The Grocery Or Supermarket Industry. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Oversee Daily Operations, Manage Employees, And Drive Sales.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: A Successful Store Assistant Manager At Kroger Should Have Exceptional Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Employees, And Upper Management. They Should Also Have A Strong Commitment To Providing Excellent Customer Service And Resolving Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours: Store Assistant Managers At Kroger May Be Required To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Willing To Work Extended Hours When Needed.
