  1. Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product selection and answering any questions.
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of L.L.Bean products and services to effectively assist customers.
  4. Actively promote and educate customers about the L.L.Bean brand and its mission to inspire and enable people to live life outdoors.
  5. Meet and exceed sales goals by effectively utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge.
  6. Keep store and product displays clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  7. Assist with inventory management, including restocking and replenishing products.
  8. Attend and participate in training sessions to continuously improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  9. Act as a brand ambassador by embodying the L.L.Bean values and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  10. Lead and assist with outdoor events, workshops, and clinics to engage and educate customers about outdoor activities and L.L.Bean products.
  11. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and ensure that all customers are properly equipped for outdoor activities.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  13. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
  14. Handle customer complaints and inquiries with empathy and problem-solving skills.
  15. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products in order to make knowledgeable recommendations to customers.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Sales Associate & Event Guide Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Engage With Customers And Promote L.l.bean Products And Events.

  • Customer Service Experience: This Role Requires Previous Experience In A Customer Service Or Sales Related Position, With A Proven Ability To Provide Exceptional Service And Build Strong Relationships With Customers.

  • Knowledge Of Outdoor Gear And Activities: A Passion For The Outdoors And A Strong Understanding Of Outdoor Gear And Activities Is Essential For This Role, As The Sales Associate & Event Guide Will Be Responsible For Providing Product Recommendations And Leading Outdoor Events.

  • Team Player: L.l.bean Values Collaboration And Teamwork, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working In A Team Environment And Be Able To Contribute Positively To The Overall Success Of The Team.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: The Sales Associate & Event Guide Will Be Required To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Evenings And Weekends, And Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Customer Needs. Flexibility And Adaptability Are Key Qualities For Success In This Role.
