Billing EDI Analyst

At LabCorp, we are looking for an experienced EDI Analyst to join our Billing team. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask. This position requires an individual who can effectively communicate with internal business partners, EDI Vendors, and external customers.The successful candidate must have experience in EDI, preferably in the healthcare field. They must have a comprehensive understanding of the EDI process, including the ability to review, and analyze EDI transactions using HIPPA-compliant formats. Additionally, they must have a working knowledge of EDI software packages, such as Axway, BizTalk, or Sterling Integrator. The ideal candidate should also have experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, and Quality Assurance. Experience with SQL and Oracle databases is a plus.The Billing EDI Analyst will be a key player in our LabCorp family – helping to ensure that our billing and EDI processes are running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:

1. Execute EDI processes, including the review and analysis of EDI transactions using HIPPA-compliant formats.
2. Utilize EDI software packages, such as Axway, BizTalk, or Sterling Integrator, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
3. Maintain and troubleshoot EDI systems and transactions.
4. Develop and implement EDI strategies to improve operational efficiency.
5. Monitor and report on EDI performance and compliance.
6. Work with internal business partners, EDI Vendors, and external customers to ensure smooth communication and understanding.
7. Provide technical support for EDI data transmission and mapping.
8. Resolve EDI-related issues and escalate to appropriate personnel when necessary.
9. Utilize Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, and Quality Assurance to comply with industry standards.
10. Work with SQL and Oracle databases to ensure accuracy of EDI processes.
