Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Director Regulated LCMS Bioanalysis to join our team at LabCorp. This leader will play an integral role in the continued success of our regulated laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in LCMS/MS bioanalysis and a proven track record of leading and developing a team of scientists and analysts. The Director Regulated LCMS Bioanalysis will be responsible for championing laboratory quality and operational excellence throughout the organization.Required qualifications for this role include a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and a minimum of 10 years of laboratory experience in regulated bioanalysis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a managerial/supervisory role. A strong understanding of LC/MS/MS and experience in developing and validating bioanalytical methods is also required. The successful candidate will possess excellent and effective communication and organizational skills and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee laboratory operations and provide technical guidance to ensure quality standards are met.
  2. Develop and validate bioanalytical methods using LC/MS/MS.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of scientists and analysts to ensure best practices are being followed.
  4. Monitor laboratory performance and progress to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Ensure laboratory compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and results.
  7. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  8. Evaluate existing procedures and policies to identify areas for improvement.
  9. Develop and implement new protocols and procedures as needed.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and trends.
