  1. Accurately and efficiently prepare patient specimens for testing using established protocols and procedures.
  2. Follow all safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  3. Utilize cutting-edge technology and equipment to process and handle specimens.
  4. Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards and ensure accurate results.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain an adequate stock of materials.
  6. Collaborate with laboratory staff to troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies with specimen processing.
  7. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all specimens and testing procedures.
  8. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals regarding specimen handling and processing.
  13. Be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  14. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  15. Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
