Materials Planner

As a member of the Materials team, the Materials Planner will be responsible for procuring and monitoring all raw production material and products in the plant. The Planner position is also responsible for preparing and executing service orders to various GM warehouses. Maintain a smooth flow of raw materials into the assembly plant. Maintain a working relationship with numerous Tier II supply bases. Work with SAP, AS400 (FGI & Shop Floor Control) & Various online portals for ordering, scheduling and receiving goods and services. GM CBR rollout in Calendar year 2022. Modify SAP scheduling agreements between various customers to ensure inventory levels are maintained throughout week. Assist in hitting inventory targets for month end, quarter end & year end. Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile per schedule.
