
Plant Superintendent
Plan and direct production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine caused of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems. Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Revise production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems. Conduct meeting to resolve grievances or refer unresolved grievances to next step. Assure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement. Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
A good knowledge base and understanding of seat manufacturing and systems
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS); four years related experience
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers
Experience working in a unionized setting a plus
