
Plant Technical Manager
Develops, administers and is accountable for operating within constraints of approved operating budget and projected costs. Interfaces with customer and corporate engineering groups to provide required resources for launch support activities. Provides program management and launch coordination support for Roscommon plant. Monitors engineering changes and proposals as they effect specific components and manufacturing processes. Oversees new program development and APQP process. Stays abreast of current technologies and engineering trends in order to recommend/incorporate as appropriate. Manages departmental benchmarking activities relating to new program development. Acts as consultant to staff regarding all manufacturing engineering and design issues. Initiates, monitors, manages, and actively pursues cost reduction efforts.
Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering or project management.
Must be able to lead and work in a team oriented environment.
Should be knowledgeable in the design process and plant layout, and direct labor utilization.
